Not just an online version of discussions! Online forums provide a structured environment for students to reflect and compose thoughtful posts. However, online discussion forums challenge instructors to set clear guidelines so that students remain active and engaged. Come share your experiences and learn from others!
To access resources for today's Lab, visit the Active Teaching Lab - Sandbox Canvas course at canvas.wisc.edu/enroll/D8YWHA (University of Wisconsin NetID required).
The Active Teaching Lab is a collaboration between the University of Wisconsin-Madison Teaching Academy and DoIT Faculty Engagement. We build interdisciplinary conversations that are more emergent than a presenter and more dynamic than a panel — a conversation with colleagues sharing challenges, solutions, and experiments on topics selected by a variety of stakeholders. See the full calendar of events: https://at.doit.wisc.edu/events/month/
